ABOUT US
Design NS is a family-run business, satisfying customers for four generations. The 2nd generation of the company, Tarmo Makela, was called the “millimeter man” because of his meticulous attention to detail, he learned the furniture business from the ground up from his father. Years later his son, Aki Makela, moved the company to Boca Raton, Florida from Finland. Today his son, Kai Makela, is carrying on the tradition. The passion for the business is in the family’s blood.
